Daily Schedule

Our preschool daily schedule offers a balanced mix of structured learning and imaginative play. The day begins with a welcoming circle time, followed by engaging activities such as sensory exploration, problem-solving challenges, and outdoor adventures. After enjoying a nutritious lunch and a restful break, children participate in theme-based projects and collaborative games. The day ends with snack and free play, providing a consistent and nurturing routine that supports both development and creativity.

Morning Circle

Morning circle is a cornerstone of our preschool routine, designed to foster a strong classroom community. During this time, students gather to share stories, discuss the day’s activities, and practice important social skills. It’s a warm and inclusive moment that helps build friendships, encourage communication, and create a sense of belonging for every child.

Choices & Snack

Children explore a rich blend of Montessori practical life activities and Reggio-inspired provocations. This dynamic period allows them to engage in hands-on tasks like pouring, sweeping, and organizing, while also diving into creative explorations sparked by intriguing materials and open-ended questions. By integrating these approaches, Choice Time fosters independence, creativity, and problem-solving skills, giving children the freedom to follow their interests and develop a love for learning through meaningful, self-directed experiences

Snack is more than just eating—it's an opportunity for children to develop independence and practical life skills. Using the Montessori approach, children are often involved in preparing their own snacks, such as slicing fruit, spreading butter on crackers, or pouring their own drinks. This fosters fine motor skills, responsibility, and self-confidence. Snack time is unhurried, allowing children to make choices about what and when to eat, promoting autonomy while also encouraging social interactions and practicing grace and courtesy during shared mealtime experiences.

Outdoor Play

Outdoor play is an essential and vibrant extension of our learning environment. Regardless of the weather, we embrace the outdoors daily, exploring nature, developing physical skills, and nurturing curiosity. Rain or shine, children engage in meaningful activities that complement their classroom experiences, fostering resilience, creativity, and a deep connection to the world around them.

Lunch
& Big Ideas

Lunchtime is a lively, enriching experience that goes beyond just eating. As children sit down to their meals, it becomes a special time to dive into stories, reflect on their day, and share their ideas with friends. We use this opportunity to explore social stories and discuss daily experiences, helping children make sense of their world and develop empathy.

Storytelling

Storytelling before rest is a cherished ritual that gently guides children from the energy of the day to a calm, restful state. As we gather in a cozy corner, a captivating story unfolds, sparking imagination and creating a soothing atmosphere. This special time not only nurtures a love for reading but also helps children unwind and transition smoothly to nap time, fostering a sense of security and relaxation as they prepare for a peaceful rest.

Rest

Rest time provides children with a peaceful break to recharge. Those who need sleep can rest quietly, while children who do not nap are offered calm activities like books, drawing, or puzzles. This balance ensures that all children can relax in a soothing environment, promoting emotional well-being and helping them prepare for the remainder of the day.

Afternoon Snack

Afternoon snack is a nourishing and enjoyable part of the day. Children often eat foods they helped prepare during cooking activities, fostering a sense of pride and connection to their meal. Alongside these homemade treats, a hearty snack is provided to ensure they stay energized and ready for the rest of the day's activities.

Free Play & Dismissal

Free play allows children the freedom to explore their interests through open-ended activities, encouraging creativity, social interaction, and independent decision-making. This time often includes large group activities such as yoga, dancing, and gardening, which promote physical development, cooperation, and a sense of community. Free play can take place both indoors and outdoors, allowing children to engage with nature, explore outdoor environments, and benefit from fresh air and movement.
